Arizaro

Second set of images taken crossing the Puna de Atacama, taken around the Salar de Arizaro salt flat and Mina la Casualidad. The small village of Tolar Grande (120 people) is the only settlement not (yet) abandoned, and mostly serves the mines in the area. One of them, Mina Julia, used to produce sulphur at 5200 m asl, and is now a deserted alien landscape of impossible colors and forms.
